As a Teaching Assistant (TA) you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational process in the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, as the TA you will assist in providing high-quality education to students, helping them reach their academic and personal goals. Key Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing instructional activities. Support individual or small groups of students in their learning, providing additional assistance as needed. Help create a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation. Prepare classroom materials and resources, including text and multimedia for lessons. Administer and grade assignments and assessments under the direction of the lead teacher. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher regarding students' needs. Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment. Assist with classroom management and discipline. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational workshops as required. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student progress. Perform administrative tasks related to student records Requirements - Have experience working with children - Be able to support at least 2 days per week on a day to day supply basis between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30 - Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
