Their commitment to the pupils and local community is at the heart of everything they do. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small-group SEMH support to help pupils re-engage with learning. Assist teaching staff in delivering tailored lessons and behaviour support plans. Use Team Teach, positive handling approaches and de-escalation techniques to manage behaviour safely. Promote resilience, engagement and positive participation for pupils with behavioural, emotional and social needs. Requirements Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, behavioural needs or SEND. Strong communication skills with a calm, patient and professional approach. Preferred Team Teach qualification (preferred, not essential). Level 1 or Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. Experience in a PRU, SEMH school, Alternative Provision, or behaviour support role.
