Role: Injection Moulding Setter
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive DOE
Shift: 3-On, 3-Off, 12-hour rotating days (07:00-19:00)
We are working with a leading plastics manufacturer, seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join their busy production team in Oxfordshire. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company producing high-quality plastic components for a variety of industries.
Responsibilities - Injection Moulding Setter
Prepare machines and production areas for mould changes, ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are ready for efficient and safe changeovers.
Safely remove and install moulds, following all safe systems of work (SSOWs) and company procedures.
Carry out routine machine setups and adjustments to achieve consistent, high-quality parts.
Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and quality standards, taking corrective action where necessary.
Complete production and quality documentation accurately, including shot settings, setup sheets, and performance logs.
Identify, report, and resolve machine or process issues to maintain production uptime.
Support continuous improvement initiatives including SMED, TPM, automation, and material efficiency.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork within the production area.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times.
Requirements - Injection Moulding Setter
Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Setter in a production environment.
Formal qualifications in Injection Moulding Setting/Processing .
Experience operating lifting equipment, cranes, and powered pallet trucks (PPT).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Team player with a flexible and proactive approach.
IMT qualification is desirable but not essential.
Strong communication skills across all levels of the business.
