A vacancy has arisen for a Management Accountant to work within the UK business at our Milton Park Office, in Didcot, Oxfordshire.

Main purpose of the job:
* Budgeting & forecasting: Support the business in the completion of annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and other forecasts, including coordination, liaison, and review. Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Interpret business insights into quantitative outputs and advise on impacts. Ensure timescales are met and high-quality detail is maintained. Analyze variances between budgets and forecasts. Review financial forecast results with stakeholders. Assist in submitting budgets and forecasts to the parent company.
* Management Accounts: Prepare and process accruals, prepayments, provisions, and company cost journals including payroll. Monthly reporting of financial results and KPIs, including commentaries and variance analysis. Assist in preparing and distributing management account reports. Support period-end processes and collaborate with colleagues.
* Business support: Provide financial advice and ensure compliance with procedures. Produce ad hoc reports, support financial systems, review payroll for compliance, and assist with audit requirements.
* Data integrity governance: Maintain project and activity data within the accounting system, review order backlogs, and oversee timesheet entry system housekeeping.
Key attributes & experience:
* Be part or fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or qualified by experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high interpersonal skills and team management ability.
* Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving approach.
* Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, Power Query), & Power BI.
