Offer description

TL;DR

Do you love video games and football, and are you extraordinarily blessed in the creative department? Well, this video gaming specialist creative agency seeks a creative unicorn to join it on-site at its Leeds city centre office to poop out some shiny gold.

What's the job?

OK, we know we're asking for a lot, but if you can tick a good chunk of these boxes then it might be worth us having a chat…

We're looking for an experienced multi-disciplinary creative. A generalist. A jack-of-all-trades who's also pretty darned good at many of them.

Some of the most important skills that we're looking for are the abilities to dream up amazing social-first concepts and campaigns, video and motion graphics concepts, create impactful graphic and web design work, come up with compelling creative ideas and to be a self-starting bar-raiser.

A large (but not the sole) focus of this role will be working on a AAA football game, so knowing what makes the sports audience tick on social, and having a genuine interest in that world, is going to be important.

We're looking for somebody who can take ownership of creative projects, staying in control and communicating well with clients and colleagues through all stages of the creative process, and being responsible for the quality of their creative output. The more hands-on you are, the better, but you'll have a team of experts around you to support your creative fancy.

Back to the unicorn thing; if you have any of the following skills then they could be put to good use: creative ideation, videography, video editing, graphic and web design, motion graphics, production and project management, social media content creation, copywriting, and a resplendent, solitary horn protruding proudly from your forehead.

Sounds interesting. How do I get the gig?

We want somebody who's into video games and gaming culture, who's into sports (particularly football) and who enjoys creating impactful and memorable stuff. We want a self-starter who can take the initiative.

And obviously if you're going to work with us as a Creative Lead then we need to know that you know your stuff and that you're good at it, so we'll want to see a solid portfolio that shows your considerable experience and what you're capable of in the creative realm.

We're not asking for X years of relevant workplace experience, we're looking for talent and drive and a great attitude, but for a Creative Lead-level role we'll be looking for somebody who's been around a bit. This most certainly will not be your first rodeo.

On the skills front, it's going to look something like this:

Required:

* Creative ideation excellence
* Strong design skills
* An interest in and knowledge of producing video content
* A love for gaming
* A love of sports (particularly football)
* Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop and Illustrator) fluency
* Great communication and presentation skills, both client-facing and among your colleagues
* Attention to deetail

Desired:

* Ability to direct and produce video content (particularly social-first content and video game trailers)
* Team leadership experience
* Motion graphics experience
* Social media nous
