As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure women who have been diagnosed with Personality Disorder (PD) or Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), as well as supporting those with a Mental Illness, receive high-quality care. Young women transitioning from CAMHS are also supported. In this mental health service, you will support your colleagues and promote positive teamwork.
The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, offering a good balance of routine and variety. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Providing high-quality, effective, and compassionate nursing care to service users
* Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
* Providing mentorship and support to team members
* Observing, recording, and reporting all service user changes, maintaining accurate records of care provided

Where you will be working
You will be working at The Chimneys Clinic, a 12-bed service providing specialist care specifically designed to support women diagnosed with emerging or personality disorders.
Working alongside the multidisciplinary team at The Chimneys, you will support mindful practice, high levels of engagement, and think on your feet to create activities that aid recovery for each young woman on their journey.
The focus of the service is to enable young women to work on reducing harmful behaviors and replacing them with effective strategies to enhance their lives and achieve personal goals.
