As the Sales Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the sales division and a key figure in closing sales and serving as a point of contact for clients.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Coordinator with our manufacturing client in Newcastle under Lyme. The company is a leading national manufacturer and supplier of niche and bespoke specialist products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team and engage regularly with clients.
Duties for the Sales Coordinator:
* Follow up on quotations with prospective clients to develop sales leads for Sales Advisors.
* Recognize opportunities to close sales.
* Utilize customer service and communication skills to build and maintain relationships.
* Negotiate deals to benefit both the business and customers.
* Update project notes and contact information in the CRM system.
* Communicate regularly with customers to provide technical and sales advice.
* Provide weekly reports and sales forecasting related to order activity.
* Generate leads through tools such as subscription services, web, and social media platforms, and gather market sector information.
* Arrange and attend meetings with potential and existing contacts.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
* Experience in sales development and customer service, preferably within manufacturing.
* Strong negotiation skills and experience in upselling, cross-selling, and closing sales.
* Ability to meet deadlines and excellent time management skills.
* Strong attention to detail for identifying high-quality leads.
* Excellent research skills, both online and via social media.
* Experience with CRM systems.
* A positive, proactive work attitude.
* Team-oriented mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Details
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Salary: Up to £26,000 per annum
