easyJet is evolving its digital commerce platforms, building scalable, resilient, and innovative foundations that enable seamless customer experiences across web, mobile, and connected channels. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Product Manager to play key role within the eCommerce Platform Delivery team, you will take accountability for multiple squads within a defined Mission.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to define platform roadmaps, prioritise technical investments, and ensure delivery outcomes align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives. You will enable shared capabilities, modernise technology foundations, and coordinate squad delivery to accelerate new customer-facing features, drive operational excellence, and support easyJet’s strategic priorities.
This is a permanent position, based in Luton. (Hybrid Working)
What you'll be doing
1. Own the Mission vision, strategy, and roadmap for eCommerce platforms and services delivered by multiple squads
2. Define outcomes and priorities for squads while leaving technical design and platform integrity to the Principal Software Engineer
3. Prioritise investments across squads, balancing new capabilities with operational resilience, performance, and reduction of technical debt
4. Partner with Principal Software Engineers to ensure product decisions are technically feasible, scalable, secure, and resilient
5. Engage senior stakeholders to agree high-level priorities, manage expectations, and translate business objectives into platform outcomes
6. Coordinate dependencies across squads and Missions to ensure aligned delivery and scalable platform adoption
7. Foster a high-performance culture within squads, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
8. Advocate for platform reuse across the organisation to enable faster delivery of customer-facing features
Requirements of the Role
What you'll bring to the team
9. Ability to link platform strategy to business outcomes including revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
10. Experience using measures such as DORA metrics, service availability, and stakeholder satisfaction to measure success
11. Proven ownership of budgets and investment plans with a focus on value delivery
12. Familiarity with cloud and commerce technologies such as AWS, APIs, mobile platforms, and analytics, with the ability to engage in technical discussions
13. Strong ability to coordinate multiple squads, manage dependencies, and align delivery across Missions
14. Track record of driving adoption of shared services and ensuring platform reuse across the organisation
15. Experience within airline, travel, or large-scale eCommerce platforms is advantageous
