Delivering Clinical Excellence:
We are seeking skilled mental health clinicians to join our team as Clinical Assessors. As a Clinical Assessor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Victims' Payment Board in delivering a high-quality clinical assessment service for the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme.
About the Opportunity:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of applicants, gathering and analysing complex clinical data to inform decision-making. You will work closely with GPs, other healthcare professionals, and applicants to ensure that all necessary information is gathered and assessed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the permanence of an applicant's condition
2. Review and analyse medical evidence to inform decision-making
3. Compile comprehensive reports detailing history, justification, and conclusion
4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of the clinical assessment service
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience
* Full registration with the NMC without sanction or conditions of practice
* A strong background in mental health or psychiatric speciality
* Excellent communication and analytical skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
