We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Machinist position based in North Gloucestershire. The position is for a global engineering solutions provider. This is a full-time position and would be shift based (rolling 2 weeks). Shifts are 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm.
Key responsibilities:
 * Machining operations: Set up, operate, and perform manual and CNC machining processes, including mills, lathes, grinding, honing, EDMs, and assembly.
 * Process setup: Carry out all setups for products routed through the machining process.
 * Design input: Provide advice on the design of fixtures, programs, and tools relevant to the machining processes.
 * Training: Train and guide operators in machine operation and inspection criteria.
 * Quality: Conduct self-inspections and complete necessary quality audits to obtain self-certification inspection stamps.

 * Install fixtures and fittings (windows, doors, flooring, plumbing systems)
