Business Development Manager – Statutory Advocacy (Health & Social Care)

POhWER is a leading national advocacy charity. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive our growth in statutory advocacy contracts – retaining key services and winning new opportunities that amplify the voices of people who need them most.
As our Business Development Manager, you will: • Lead end-to-end tenders for health and social care advocacy services • Shape service models with operational, safeguarding, quality and finance colleagues • Develop commercial models and pricing that are competitive, sustainable and robust • Build strong relationships with commissioners, procurement teams and partners • Oversee smooth contract mobilisation so new services launch safely and on time
You’ll bring: • Proven experience leading public-sector tenders (ideally health or social care) • A track record of winning bids for commissioned services • Strong commercial and financial modelling skills • Excellent written communication and project management skills • A values-driven, rights-based approach aligned with independence, empowerment and safeguarding
