Base pay range
Our client is a globally recognised technology leader, and they are investing heavily in security. In line with a huge security buildout, they are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to define and embed security architecture across their product landscape.
This role offers the chance to influence security strategy at scale, ensuring that millions of users benefit from secure, resilient, and trusted applications. If you’re passionate about secure design, application security tooling, and enabling engineering teams to deliver secure software by default, this role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact at scale.
Responsibilities:
* Define and implement security testing strategies integrated throughout the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Assess application security risks and specify requirements for new projects and system enhancements.
* Build and champion a threat modeling capability while promoting secure coding practices across development teams.
* Lead and coordinate security testing activities, ensuring timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
* Advise on security best practices and compliance obligations and conduct targeted security testing where required.
Requirements:
* 3-5+ years of experience in application security, security architecture or secure software development.
* Proven track record of establishing security review criteria to ensure application code is assessed against common vulnerabilities.
* Strong understanding of vulnerabilities and prevention techniques (OWASP Top 10).
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating AppSec tooling.
* Good understanding of wider Cyber, InfoSec and GRC processes and frameworks.
