Network Technician (EL521)
Salary: £25,205 - £28,282 (per annum)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Ellesmere Port (with some travel to the Chester campus)

We are looking for a Network Technician to join us at our Ellesmere Port campus. Both our proactive and reactive work are vital to the running of the College. We work on large-scale projects as well as supporting colleagues with day-to-day technical issues.

Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair IT systems and equipment (hardware, peripherals and software) to ensure they are functioning effectively, in accordance with agreed service standards;
* Install IT equipment and software to meet user needs;
* Identify persistent and potential problems and suggest and implement solutions;
* Assist with the inventory audits of equipment and software;
* Assist in the development and technical support of the technology infrastructure for both voice and data and;
* Promote the welfare of children and young people.
Key Person Specification Requirements
* GCSE Grade C (4/5) or above in English and Maths (or equivalent);
* Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
* Excellent organisational skills;
* Appropriate level of digital literacy; and
* Enhanced DBS check.
