Somerset Willow is a respected leader in crafting premium handmade willow products, supplying a range of industries from the funeral sector to interior design and fashion. We are currently looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Operative who takes pride in quality work.
In this role, you'll support our operations team by assembling and preparing products for dispatch, whilst ensuring orders are completed on time and to the required standard.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining an organised workspace: Keeping work areas tidy, clean, and organised ensures workspaces are efficient and effective.
Quality Control of premium products: Checking the quality of all orders leaving the company using software to assist in managing the process
Finishing Products for dispatch: Adding the final touches to products and working to deadlines to ensure products are complete for dispatch.
Protecting & Packaging: Adding protection and packaging to products before these are shipped via the courier network to ensure they arrive safely and in good condition with the customer.
Labelling Items: Applying shipping labels and notices to packages to ensure orders are received at the correct locations.
Requirements – Essential
· Physically fit and used to working under pressure to meet essential timescales.
· Excellent attention to detail with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
· Self-motivated, driven and able to work within a small team.
· Capable of heavy lifting and safely loading or unloading goods.
Requirements – Desirable
· Previous experience in a warehouse environment
· Ability to use a computer and relevant software, and/or willing to learn.
· Forklift Truck Licence
· Holds a UK Driving Licence
Job Details:
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Pay: £25,854 per year (£12.43ph) with the potential to earn up to £31,310 with full training and overtime
Overtime: Basic overtime paid at x 1.25
Pay Review: Annual
