No previous experience is required as on-the-job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

If you have an eye for attention to detail and enjoy general cleaning, you could be perfect for this role. We currently have a permanent vacancy covering Glenrothes and surrounding area in Schools and Council buildings, working 15 hours, Monday to Friday 52 weeks per year, as required.

* Ensure staff and pupils can return to a clean and safe environment every day.
Salary and Benefits
* Salary: £24,740.74 pro-rata and annualised payments.
* Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
* Travel expenses paid (45 pence per mile when using own car).
* Pay is 4 weekly.

Requirements / Qualifications
* No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided.
* Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel to numerous locations within the specified area; driving licence desirable.
* PVG scheme membership required through Disclosure Scotland before confirming appointment.
* Attend Induction Training Day before starting in post.
