Job Purpose: An opportunity as a personal assistant to cover sickness and holiday has become available to support a lady living in the Roydon area. You would be required to help with day-to-day duties, attend medical appointments, and visit the local community. Location: IP22 and surrounding area. Details: - Domestic care- light housework, hoovering, and general upkeep.- Provide support to attend medical appointments- Personal care – support with showering- Social activities - Have coffee in the local community- Help with food shop Person specification: Listed below are the skills, competencies and qualities that are essential and desirable for the post.- Reliable- Friendly-Trustworthy- Similar interests – Gardening -Flexible Summary terms and conditions: -The rate of pay for this position is £13.50ph -Hours and times of work: up to 10hrs a week to cover holiday and sickness. -Other duties will be discussed if/when deemed appropriate but everything that will be expected will be explained prior to acceptance of the position.-The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.-Access to free training for employed workers. -If this job requires; Manual Handling, Handling of hazardous chemicals and/or Food Handling you will be required undertake annual training. The post is subject to the following: · A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. · Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. · Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
