Job Purpose:
The Gas Team Leader will oversee the installation of gas infrastructure, both on and off-site, ensuring the work is conducted to high safety and technical standards. The role involves leading a team, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with all industry regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Commissioning: Safely install and commission gas infrastructure, ensuring all work follows specific method statements, work procedures, and safety instructions.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and direct a team, ensuring tasks are completed to high standards of safety and efficiency.
3. Safety Compliance: Perform daily site-specific risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment by wearing and enforcing the use of PPE.
4. Material and Equipment Management: Accept delivery of materials, ensuring they are fit for purpose. Oversee the condition of vehicles, plant, and equipment, reporting defects to the Project Manager.
5. Variation Reporting: Identify and report contract variations and issues, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
