Job Description
As an IT 2nd Line Engineer, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. You will work closely with the IT team to resolve issues that have been escalated from the 1st line support, addressing complex problems and implementing solutions that enhance system efficiency and performance. You will involved in setting up and closing down of sites. You will also provide onsite support when needed.
Technical Support: Provide advanced support for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of problems.
1. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, utilizing a deep understanding of IT systems and tools.
2. System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and updates on IT infrastructure to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
3. Incident Management: Manage and track incidents, ensuring all issues are documented, communicated, and resolved effectively.
4. Escalation Handling: Address issues escalated from 1st line support, providing solutions and recommendations for improvement.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and system changes to support continuous improvement.
6. User Training: Assist in training end-users on IT systems and best practices to enhance their proficiency and reduce support requests.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
11. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
12. Technical Expertise: Proficient in Windows, networking protocols, and common IT tools.
13. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
14. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
15. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the IT team and other departments to achieve common goals.
16. Certifications: Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), are preferred.
