Chef de Partie – Langham Hotel, Eastbourne
We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join the award-winning kitchen team at The Langham Hotel.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who thrives in a professional kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering dishes of the highest quality. You'll work closely with our Executive Head Chef and Sous Chef, playing a key role in menu development, maintaining consistency, and ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen reflects our high standards.
What you'll be doing:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within your section
* Assisting with meat and fish preparation
* Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with menu creation and development
* Upholding exceptional attention to detail and presentation
* Helping to manage health & safety and food hygiene practices
* Guiding and supporting junior kitchen team members
* Managing stock rotation and ensuring correct labelling and storage
* Keeping your section well-stocked and organised during service
* Working effectively as part of a team and independently when required
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie (or in a similar role) is essential
* A calm, professional and positive approach – even under pressure
* Strong organisational skills and a team-player mentality
* Genuine passion for cooking and a drive to progress within your career
