Overview
Field Service Engineer at Linde Material Handling – Birmingham/Tamworth area.
We are looking for vehicle technicians or mechanical engineers with experience in forklift technology or related fields to join our team. You will service a range from small pallet trucks to IC, VNA and automated trucks, diagnosing faults and performing preventative maintenance at customer sites.
Responsibilities
* Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites.
* Perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate service records.
* Work with a variety of equipment, from pallet trucks to automated trucks.
Qualifications
* Experience in at least one of the following areas: Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Hydraulics.
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
* IT literate; able to use the latest technology to record information and place orders.
* Full UK driving licence.
