The role: Liaising with Operations Management to plan final assembly according to capacity constraints Setting anticipated delivery dates through acknowledgement to customers Communicating daily picking, packing and shipping requirements through daily reporting Expediting urgent orders where possible Monitoring and communicating lead times Ensuring internal production capacity meets demand Optimising demand versus supply, and accurate control of components, purchased sub-assemblies and factored products Investigating the reasons behind overdue orders with the aim to prevent reoccurrence where possible Developing and analysing OTIF metrics Leading SIOP and looking at innovative ways for production to meet customer demands and optimise resource utilisation About you: A proactive approach, with a strong collaborative style and a real customer focus at all times. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and instil confidence Challenges the status quo to find solutions and improve existing processes. A forward thinking approach that understands what needs to be delivered today, while building processes that will support us in the future. The ability to problem solve, manage information, and forward plan, making timely decisions in what is a time pressured environment.
