What You’ll Do
* Ensure the team delivers products to meet customer delivery dates, revenue budget targets, cost constraints, and quality requirements (hardware and paperwork).
* Lead the AAR aftermarket team in Wimborne.
* Resolve issues with Manufacturing Engineers, Material Planners, Quality Inspectors, Test Technicians and Fitters.
* Report to the Value Stream Manager and manage budget, including early risk identification/mitigation and opportunities assessment.
* Escalate key issues to the Value Stream Manager and support meetings with the Operations Director.
* Provide financial forecasts to the IPT and finance team, from initial monthly reviews to regular monthly updates.
* Run WIP/drumbeat meetings to ensure accurate completion dates are provided to material planners.
* Resolve issues with the cross‑functional delivery team (MP, ME, Engineering, Quality, Procurement) such as NCRs, emerging design issues, Stop Notes and FAIRs.
* Act as the key IPT/Ops interface.
* Ensure relevant commercial flow‑downs associated with delivery are propagated to the correct teams.
* Manage on‑time delivery (OTD) and arrears, generating reporting materials.
* Manage OTTS tracking, run weekly team sessions with MPs, Procurement, Despatch, investigate RCCA for missed deliveries, and lead investigations with CI support.
* Support the Value Stream Manager in achieving First Pass Yield (FPY) targets.
Qualifications
* Qualifications from HNC/HND level or above, or equivalent time‑served experience.
Skills
* Team player with strong issue resolution skills; able to perform under pressure.
* Good financial awareness.
* Proven management and leadership skills.
* Experience delivering product is beneficial.
