RG Consultancy are working with an excellent company based in Worsley who are looking for a strong Accounts Assistant to join the team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is reporting into the Finance Manager and will be joining a team of 3 within the department. Job Purpose: The Accounts Assistant will provide comprehensive support to the finance team, assisting with purchase ledger and credit control mainly. Key Responsibilities: Process purchase ledger and sales ledger transactions Responsible for all purchase ledger duties, manage and maintain the purchase ledger Processing invoices (including stock and overheads) Processing employee expenses Bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with month end journals Manage the accounts inbox Perform data entry and general administrative tasks Provide general office support as required Person Specification: Experience working in an SME environment is essential Strong organisational and administrative skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility on start and finish times 25 days holiday per year bank holidays Company pension scheme Free parking
