We’re pleased to announce the introduction of new Senior Residential Childcare Worker roles within Lancashire County Council’s Residential Children’s Services, as part of our “Where Our Children Live” programme.
This initiative is focused on creating safe, supportive homes for Lancashire children and forms a key part of our wider strategy to modernise and expand residential childcare across the county.
Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional ready to take the next step in your career? Do you want to be part of a supportive, values-driven team that puts children and young people at the heart of everything we do?

You’ll champion the care, safety, and development of children with complex needs, helping to implement care plans, promote education, and support emotional wellbeing. You’ll also take a central role in inspections, safeguarding, and care planning, while being a role model for best practice, integrity, and compassion.
In return, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking, supportive team that values your voice and your contribution. You’ll have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, and work in a service that’s innovative, collaborative, and child-focused. Most importantly, you’ll make a genuine impact on the lives of children and young people in Lancashire.
