Summary
We are seeking a skilled Stove/Fire Fitter to join our team at C W Fireplaces. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various types of stoves and fireplaces, ensuring that each project meets our high standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
* Install gas, woodburning, and electric stoves and fireplaces according to specifications.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations.
* Fabricate components as needed to ensure proper fit and function.
* Conduct site assessments to determine installation requirements.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the installation process.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role within the construction or installation industry.
* Strong knowledge of masonry techniques and use of hand tools.
* Ability to read technical drawings and specifications accurately.
* Familiarity with electrical systems is a plus but not mandatory.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
