Roles And Responsibilities
* Managing the pavement team to ensure scheme approvals meet delivery deadlines.
* Coordinating delivery of technical reports/studies to Transport Scotland.
* Liaising with Transport Scotland at regular technical workshops to discuss specific scheme challenges and solutions.
* Prioritising team workload to ensure programme dates are achieved.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Relevant Civil Engineering degree.
* Professionally qualified or working towards professional qualification (IEng/CEng).
* Knowledge of current design standards.
* Working knowledge of contract control and management systems.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure.
* Ability to produce innovative solutions to engineering problems.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Full approved UK Driving license.
