Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a market leader in the CCGT Power Station sector, actively seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Central Engineering team at their Combined Cycle Gas Turbine facility in Immingham, with occasional travel to other sites.

Responsibilities
Experience in the Electrical Engineering of large Industrial processes (Power Generation desirable).
Supporting the electrical systems at Immingham Power Generation facility.
Directly involved in the technical risks management for the electrical assets across the sites which include Plant Status Reviews, Obsolescence and Strategic Spares, compliance with Engineering Standards and Technical Guidance Documents, and engagement with appropriate external bodies e.g. HSE or NESO.
Plan and Implement large-scale Electrical Engineering Projects.
Providing technical expertise to develop maintenance strategies and providing Engineering support primarily for the Immingham site and assisting across the fleet.
Plan and assist with maintenance activities as and when required to keep plant operational.
Support Electrical Engineering aspects for large capital project development.
Meeting challenging commercial, safety, environmental, quality, and personal development
Supporting the assigned physical processes and projects to meet established performance objectives.
Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in large-scale generating or process plants (CCGT experience desirable).
A degree qualification is preferred however HNC/HND with relevant industry experience also considered).
Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering principles, standards, and legislation.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
Familiarity with relevant legislation, including Health & Safety, Environment, and employment law.
Specialized knowledge in areas such as system modelling, simulation studies, or electrical equipment/apparatus (advantageous).
Excellent organisational, communication, and IT skills (MS Office).
Experience with budgets and contract management.
Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Self-motivation, creativity in problem-solving, and flexibility in adapting to change.
Commitment to continuous learning and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workload effectively.
Strong ethical standards with a focus on safety, environmental responsibility, and professionalism.
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to work across multiple sites.
