About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in London. You’ll deliver engaging and creative lessons to children aged 5 to 7, helping them develop key skills and a love of learning. You’ll play a vital role in creating a nurturing, inclusive environment that supports every child’s academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver differentiated KS1 lessons that meet the needs of all learners
2. Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
3. Manage behaviour positively to maintain a calm and productive classroom
4. Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, parents, and colleagues to support pupil development
5. Foster curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in pupils
What We’re Looking For
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Experience teaching in KS1 or Early Years (placements count)
8. Strong knowledge of KS1 curriculum and child development
9. Excellent classroom management and communication skills
10. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
11. Commitment to inclusive education and helping all children thrive
