Job overview
We work Monday to Friday at Hillingdon Hospital. It is a small team of highly motivated staff.
We provide diagnostic Endoscopy procedures on an out patient day case booking.
Endoscopy experience preferable but not essential. Training in the speciality will be provided.
Main duties of the job
To facilitate multidisciplinary patient centred care and deliver effective quality nursing care for patients undergoing Endoscopic procedures, ensuring that the lists run smoothly and efficiently.
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. On a regular basis,
accept the responsibility for the management / leadership of the department in the absence of the senior nurse.
To participate in the supervision and direction of junior nursing staff, healthcare assistants and learners.
