Kitchen Assistant - Outskirts of Penrith
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team just outside Penrith. This role is ideal for someone with previous kitchen experience who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
Hours and Pay
* Any 5 days out of 7
* Shift times: 7.00am to 3.30pm
* Pay rate: £12.75 per hour
Main Duties
* Preparing ingredients and supporting chefs with food prep
* Cooking meals such as fish and chips, lasagne, burgers and other classic dishes
* Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene and following food safety procedures
* Cleaning down kitchen areas, equipment and utensils to ensure a safe and tidy workspace
* Working as part of a team to make sure service runs smoothly
About You
* Previous experience working in a kitchen is essential
* Confident in basic cooking and food preparation
* A full driving licence and your own transport are required due to the rural location
* Good work ethic, reliable and punctual
* Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
