About The School
Orchard is a three-form entry junior school on the Springfield Estate in Milton Keynes with capacity for 360 children across KS2. In addition, we have a twenty four-pupil place social communication Additional Resource Provision for pupils at both Orchard and Shepherdswell.

This position is open to applicants who hold teacher status and is not suitable for ECT teachers. The school is on a successful journey of development which is having a significant impact on our staff and children. We are proud to celebrate a strong improvement in attainment in the last academic year. We are looking for a leader that places children at the centre of their decision-making, role-modelling to staff how positive relationships underpin achievement and success for all. As a school, we are also committed to developing talent and provide the necessary support so that staff can achieve their aspirations and goals.

General Roles And Responsibilities

* Leading on Personal Development, Behaviours and Attitudes across the school
* Phase leadership, including line management
* Direct coaching of school staff
* Classroom teaching commitment (to be discussed at interview)
* Implementation of the school's Monitoring, Evaluation and Review cycle
