The company has global revenues of over €19 billion annually and is currently engaged on some of the largest and most exciting infrastructure projects in Europe.This position will join their growing Environment team and work closely with the Head of Environment on project wide assurance and new initiatives.Key responsibilities of the Environment Manager will include:Ensuring the delivery of the environmental compliance with legislation and regulations across a wide range of diverse construction projectsManaging and monitoring the working environment, ensuring compliance with legislation, including ISO14001 and ISO50001Conducting site visits and audits, look for any opportunities to drive improvements and deliver training where requiredActing as the main point of contact for the environmental sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulatorsThe successful Environment Manager requires:Demonstrable environmental and sustainability experience, ideally within Infrastructure, Civil engineering, or related industryGood understanding of environmental legislations and experience with Environmental management systems (ISO 14001)Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in an appropriate environmental disciplineProfessional membership with a recognised environmental body (IEMA, CIEEM, CIWEM)The position will include frequent travel, a valid UK driving license is required.
