Senior Software Eng (.NET/Kubernetes)
Ignite Systems is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Platform to join our talented engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining our industry‑leading insurance systems that deliver critical functionality to brokers and policyholders worldwide. You will work on designing scalable platform components, optimizing system performance, and ensuring high availability and security across our solutions. Responsibilities
* Work within our cross‑functional Technical Initiatives team to drive forward our DevOps maturity, capability and culture.
* Collaborate closely with Product and QA to solve problems and provide award‑winning service to our clients.
* Apply expertise in .NET, Kubernetes, general DevOps practices, and SQL databases (SQL Server or PostgreSQL) to transition a monolith into modular microservices.
* Manage Kubernetes clusters with GitOps tools and optimise infrastructure for modularisation.
* Mentor, pair program, and provide informal support to raise the technical bar across the team.
Qualifications
* Kubernetes hosted in Azure.
* Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
* Proficiency in C# .NET (framework and the latest LTS release).
* Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Argo CD and Kargo.
* Knowledge of Vue, Nuxt, and TypeScript.
