We are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school community in Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring young learners and supporting them through the early stages of their education.
You will be responsible for delivering creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons that support pupils in developing strong foundations in reading, writing, maths, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver high-quality KS1 lessons in line with the national curriculum
2. Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
3. Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress effectively
4. Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs
5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers
6. Contribute to whole-school activities, enrichment, and school improvement
7. Promote excellent behaviour, wellbeing, and a love of learning
About You
We are seeking a teacher who:
8. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
9. Has experience or a strong understanding of KS1 teaching
10. Is creative, reflective, and passionate about early years education
11. Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
12. Is committed to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
13. Works effectively as part of a team and communicates well
