Job Role: Talent Management Partner
Salary: £45,000 - £58,000 (Depending on exp. & location)
Location: London or Leeds (hybrid, 2 days in office)
I'm working with a Financial Services organisation who are looking for an experienced Talent Management Partner to join their team. Reporting to the Talent Manager, you will supporting to a businesss who is going through transformational change. Also, you will be part of a CoE that is expanding and would benefit from this individual bringing their external experience to contribute to their talent management practices.
Job Responsibilities:
* Designing and implementing strategic talent initiatives that support career development, succession planning, and internal mobility across the organisation.
* Leading the delivery of high-impact talent programmes, including high-potential development schemes and accelerated leadership pathways.
* Partnering with senior leaders and HR colleagues to embed a consistent and inclusive approach to talent management that aligns with business needs and future workforce planning.
* Driving the annual talent review cycle, ensuring robust succession plans are in place and identifying development opportunities for key talent.
* Developing and launching an internal mobility framework, enabling colleagues to explore new roles and career paths within the FCA.
* Using data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of talent initiatives, identify trends, and make evidence-based recommendations to improve outcomes.
* Creating and delivering compelling presentations and executive papers to influence senior stakeholders and communicate the value of talent initiatives.
* Managing external suppliers and partners, ensuring high standards of delivery and value for money, and challenging where necessary to drive continuous improvement.
* Championing a culture of growth and development, helping colleagues at all levels to thrive and realise their potential.
Ideal Candidate:
* Recent experience in talent development—you’ve supported experienced professionals in navigating career progression, retention, and internal mobility.
* Strategic talent management expertise—you’ve designed and delivered organisation-wide talent interventions (beyond recruitment), such as succession planning, talent reviews, or leadership development.
* Data-driven mindset—you’re confident gathering, analysing, and interpreting people data to generate insights and make evidence-based recommendations that improve talent outcomes.
* Strong project management skills—you can lead complex projects, manage multiple priorities, and identify risks with appropriate mitigation strategies.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement—you’re comfortable influencing and collaborating with senior leaders, HR colleagues, and external partners.
* Adaptability and communication—you tailor your approach to suit different audiences and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
* Corporate HR expertise—you’ve successfully implemented secondment programmes, led succession planning processes, and delivered performance and talent programmes at scale.
