The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Health Care Support Worker into the Physiotherapy team with the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) Department at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. Your role will involve providing support to the Physiotherapists within the department. This will include taking on your own caseload of patients as directed by the Physiotherapist, as well as being involved in the delivery of antenatal and postnatal classes. You will also play a large role in the administrative tasks that ensure the department runs smoothly. This includes answering the phone and dealing with any queries, managing self-referral lists and appointing patients, ordering stock and departmental cleaning. Your base will be at Inverclyde Royal Hospital but at times you may be required to support the Physiotherapy team within the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley. You will need to be an excellent communicator with proven interpersonal skills and the ability to put patients at ease. You will having previous experience working in a health care environment, ideally in a rehabilitation setting, and have a passion for the speciality. You need to be organised and methodical, and have the flexibility to adapt to the various demands put upon you throughout the day.
