1. Key Responsibilities
A. Project & Programme Management
* Oversee daily site operations and supervise installation activities.
* Maintain and update project schedules, identifying potential risks or delays.
* Coordinate design releases, procurement timelines, deliveries, and on-site sequencing.
* Implement weekly work plans and monitor productivity.
* Develop recovery or acceleration plans as needed.
B. Health, Safety & Environmental Management
* Act as the site Health & Safety lead, ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
* Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety audits.
* Ensure strict adherence to fire safety measures during remediation works.
* Manage scaffold/mast climber access safely and ensure inspections are completed.
* Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
C. Quality Assurance & Technical Compliance
* Ensure works meet industry standards, fire guidelines, OEM specifications, and required workmanship levels.
* Monitor installation sequencing to protect fire-stopping, cavity barriers, and façade integrity.
* Maintain quality records, check sheets, and photo evidence.
* Manage non-conformance items until resolved.
* Liaise with designers to resolve technical queries.
D. Client & Stakeholder Liaison
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, building managers, and other stakeholders.
* Lead weekly progress meetings and provide clear reporting.
* Communicate disruptions, constraints, risks, and planned works in advance.
* Maintain professional relationships and communication.
E. Occupied Building Management
* Communicate with occupants regarding planned works, noise, access, and building impacts.
* Maintain safe working areas within occupied buildings.
* Manage public protection measures, signage, hoarding, and walkways.
* Address occupant concerns diplomatically and promptly.
F. Subcontractor & Workforce Management
* Manage subcontractors to ensure safe and productive work.
* Review labor levels and adjust as needed to maintain schedules.
* Coordinate daily briefings and task-specific planning.
* Ensure only approved, competent subcontractors are onsite.
G. Logistics & Material Control
* Plan and manage site setup, welfare facilities, and safe access/egress routes.
* Manage deliveries, lifting operations, storage areas, and traffic control.
* Inspect materials on arrival and ensure proper handling and protection.
* Coordinate material readiness with weekly sequencing.
H. Commercial, Cost & Change Awareness
* Support commercial teams by providing accurate progress and valuation data.
* Identify variations and additional works early, ensuring proper documentation.
* Monitor preliminary expenditure (welfare, plant, labor, logistics).
* Track workforce productivity and report deviations.
I. Documentation, Reporting & Governance
* Maintain daily site reports, progress logs, and photographic documentation.
* Ensure all drawings, specifications, and onsite instructions are up to date.
* Keep clear records of requests for information, technical queries, access issues, and coordination notes.
* Submit weekly operational updates to senior management.
2. Required Competencies & Experience
Essential Background
* Experience in a project or site management role within construction or façade contracting.
* Experience in refurbishment, remediation, façade replacement, or building regeneration.
* Strong knowledge of site operations, sequencing, and working in live/occupied environments.
Technical Knowledge
* Understanding of façade systems, fire regulations, and fire/cavity barrier installation requirements.
* Knowledge of scaffolding, mast climbers, and temporary works procedures.
* Familiarity with quality inspection requirements and industry guidance is desirable.
Digital Skills
* Competent in using email, document control tools, and standard PDF markup tools.
* Able to review drawings digitally and use basic reporting systems and progress templates.

4. Qualifications
