In this position, you will play a crucial role in driving volume, sales, and margin growth within the specialist Meat & Poultry category. You’ll work closely with Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Business Development Managers (BDMs), and Sales Consultants to maximize sales opportunities and identify potential new customers.
This is a remote-based role, but candidates should be within commuting distance of the region.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Boosting volume, sales turnover, and margin within the Chilled & Frozen Meat & Poultry category by collaborating with independent sales teams on customer opportunities.
* Building strong relationships with customers, presenting and demonstrating our Meat & Poultry range with professionalism to establish trust and credibility.
* Promoting the Brakes chilled meat & poultry proposition effectively.
* Working closely with ASMs, BDMs, and dedicated telesales specialists to develop new business and increase share of wallet.
* Assisting with product knowledge and advice to help sell through products at risk and reduce waste.
* Actively participating in team meetings to train and enhance the knowledge of Brakes sales teams, ensuring they maximize all opportunities.
* Completing weekly and monthly administration accurately.
* Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline using Salesforce, capturing all customer details and requirements.
* Maximizing selling opportunities through analysis of customer needs and gap filling.
* Staying informed about competitor activities and market trends.
* Taking ownership of your personal and career development in collaboration with your line manager.
