We’re on a mission to raise the creative potential of the UK, giving young people and artists the space to experiment, develop skills and be part of incredible moments that go down in history.

Chalk Farm, London, NW1

We are now looking for a Philanthropy Manager to join us on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Benefits

* Salary of £37,680 per annum
* 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays, increasing after 2 years service up to 30 days
* Ability to buy up to three days annual leave
* Pension scheme
* Cycle to Work, Tech and Home Scheme
* Season Ticket Loan
* Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
* Health Cash Plan
* Group Life Assurance
* Staff discount at our bar and café
* Complimentary staff tickets
* Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Adoption leave
* Staff networks, forms and social groups

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven fundraising professional to make a real impact on income at the Roundhouse.

You’ll have the chance to support our iconic venue and ensure that young people can get the support, access and facilities they need to continue and develop this country’s incredible tradition of creativity.

In return for your hard work and expertise, you’ll discover some great rewards, get involved in fantastic events that stretch your skills and help you develop, and join an organisation focused on creativity, growth and achievement.

Your Role

As our Philanthropy Manager, you will be tasked with generating income and support to aid the young people using our services to access creative tools, facilities and employment within the creative industries.

Working towards a team goal of £700,000 in 2026, you will oversee the work of junior team members whilst working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, Events Manager and Principal Gift Lead. You will directly support the creative studios which sit below our venue, and work to develop your own portfolio of 90 prospects and donors, including four‑ and five‑figure level donors.

This fast‑paced, varied role will see you researching prospects from recent events and engaging with them, giving tours of our facilities and getting passionate about our youth programme.

You might choose to end the day in our members bar, connecting with supporters enjoying a gig, after catching up with our young entrepreneurs, so you can report on their activity.

We’ve got ambitious targets for the next few years, and we need your enthusiasm and engagement to ensure we reach them. Sometimes you will be expected to work evenings and weekends to meet these targets as we’re hoping to hit £1m in 2028 as part of an overall goal of £6m.

About You

* At least three years’ previous experience in managing a portfolio of prospects and donors and securing gifts toward charitable aims or projects
* Experience of managing staff or volunteers
* Experience of working in a team towards a shared fundraising goal
* The willingness to bring your own ideas to the table that utilise your skills and experience

Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate must have a current and acceptable DBS check or be willing to undertake one.

The closing date for this role is the 31st March 2026.

First stage interviews are scheduled for the 6th April 2026.

Other organisations may call this role Fundraising Manager, Partnerships Manager, Income Generation Manager, Charity Fundraising Manager, Giving Manager, Individual Giving Manager, or Corporate Giving Manager.
