SHOP ASSISTANT
We are a well-known, family-run shop who are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic individual to provide a professional, friendly and first-class service to our customers with a passion for Italian food ingredients and cookery.
Primary duties will include:
* Ensure goods are well displayed and supplied to customers in a friendly manner
* Ensure the shop floor and working areas are kept clean and tidy
* Receive deliveries from suppliers
* Follow Health & Safety standards and procedures to maintain our 5 star hygiene rating
* Please note the position entails an element of heavy lifting
Requirements:
* Similar previous experience
* Friendly, outgoing, and motivated personality
* Food industry knowledge would be an advantage
Our shop is open 5 days per week Tues ~ Sat (10am ~ 7pm) and your hours of 40 hours per week would be spread across the working week, with Friday and Saturday being full days.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.30-£13.00 per hour
