We're looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Contracting team, playing a pivotal role in delivering excellence within the SWTRA framework. Health and Safety: ▪ Operating to the highest standards of H&S in line with Heidelberg Materials H&S plan and objectives. ▪ Leading the management of the H&S of Heidelberg Materials Contracting (HMC) employees and supply chain on site. ▪ Ensuring processes and policies are rigorously followed and Safe Systems of Work, Method Statements and Risk Assessments comply with Contracting's Integrated Management System. Quality * Ensuring a 'Right First Time Every Time' approach is followed, delivering defect free schemes upon completion. * Ensuring effective and efficient resource planning of materials, plant and skilled operatives to achieve highest quality contract delivery. * Programming of schemes to maximise financial return for HMC, whilst minimising risks and maintaining the quality of the works. Environmental and sustainability: * Ensuring robust processes and procedures are understood and followed on the project, allowing full compliance with all regulations e.g. waste transfer movements; and elimination / avoidance of any environmental incidents. Client Liaison and Management * Managing effective and timely communication channels with clients to ensure agreed contract programmes are adhered to. * Active engagement and collaboration with the client organisation and their agents to maximise our contractual workshare and enhance our financial return Finance * Ensuring operational management understands the commercial objectives and limitations of the project. * Ensuring cost and programme control to maximise Contracting's financial returns. * Ensuring robust site records are maintained to allow the QS team to maximise financial returns. Qualification Ideally educated to degree level Ideally hold (or are working towards) project management qualification Nebosh or other equivalent H&S qualification Why Join us?
