AG Hotels Group is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented night receptionist to join our team at The Embassy Hotel, Gateshead. As a night receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.
Responsibilities:
* Greet and check-in guests arriving during the night shift
* Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and provide information about the hotel and local area
* Handle guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally
* Manage the check-out process and ensure accurate billing
* Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
* Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable
* Perform night audit and ensure the safety and security of guests and the premises
* Perform administrative tasks, such as updating guest records and making reservations
* Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction
* Handle emergency situations and follow appropriate procedures
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
* Knowledge of PMS and basic computer skills
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong customer service orientation
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Professional appearance and demeaner
* This will be 4 days on 4 off role
* The candidate should be flexible to work weekend shifts and cover sickness/ holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
