what youll be doingLead, coach and develop a team of 5 design engineers, setting objectives, managing workload and driving a high-performance, collaborative culture.Own the design-to-manufacture process from models, drawings, BOMs and routings through to production engineering support, ensuring products are delivered right first time and on time.Act as the technical link between Engineering, Sales, Production, Purchasing and Quality, turning customer requirements and performance data into robust, manufacturable solutions.Drive change, compliance and continuous improvement, managing design changes, ensuring regulatory standards are met and using testing/prototype data and shop-floor feedback to improve quality, cost and lead times.Plan and manage engineering resources and budgets, contributing as part of thesenior management teamto support growth, profitability and long-term strategy.About youProvenEngineering Manager(or similar) withminimum 3 years in a leadership role, ideally leading design/engineering teams.Strong technical background from acomplex / high-variation manufacturing environment.Confident people leader
