We invite applications from people with a sound administrative background and competent Office skills to support the clinical team to organise, coordinate and under take fieldwork for dental screening in schools in North Yorkshire and the City of York for the 2025-2026 Epidemiology Survey. Working with Dental Therapists and Dental Nurse Team Leaders you will have a key role in the coordination of delivery for the 5- year- old Epidemiology Survey on behalf of Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust. We have a vacancy for 2 full time positions and for the right candidates flexibility for work base will be considered.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for taking a key role when communicating with sites/schools and the HDFT CDS Epidemiology teams by telephone or in person regarding the organisation of the epidemiological survey. Liaise with teams regarding any queries from participants, parents and school teams. Take full and comprehensive messages and respond in timely fashion.
You will need excellent administrative knowledge and computer skills and have attention to detail to tasks. A high degree of confidentiality, sensitivity, discretion and tact is required.
In addition you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You will be active and through your interpersonal skills you should be able to crisis manage and actively problem solve without direct supervision.

* Educated to NVQ level 3 or equivalent relevant experience in similar role
* Awareness of data protection, data security and clear understanding of confidentiality
* Proven ability to meet deadlines
* Demonstrable experience in a recent clerical / administrative role
Desirable criteria
* Experience of taking part in Epidemiology surveys
* Experience of inputting into database/spreadsheet recording systems
