SEN Teaching Assistant
Academics are working exclusively to support a lovely SEN school in North Stoke on Trent, who support children with Cognition and Learning needs, from Reception to Year 11.
The Job…
The school has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, promoting high levels of independence through the school day. Your role will be providing teaching and learning support under the direction of the classroom teacher. The school believe in celebrating success, and driving children to achieve; ensuring that they feel valued. You will be required to work with children across the age ranges (Key Stage 1, 2, 3, and 4), and offering both medical and personal care support. The role will be 32.5 hours a week term time only, spread over 5 days.

A professional, with experience of children with a disability or SEN
Confident, outgoing, and friendly
Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
Promote happiness, self-reliance and encourage positive interactions
