Responsibilities
* Assist predominantly Limited Company clients with statutory reporting.
* Prepare financial statements primarily under FRS 102, with some IFRS.
* Prepare VAT returns.
* Support outsourced FD clients with management reporting and ad hoc queries.
* Assist in training junior team members (new AAT trainees).
Ideal Candidate
* AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA part‑qualified or newly qualified.
* Minimum 2 years experience in an accountancy practice.
* Experience in preparing financial statements, corporation tax returns and VAT returns.
* Excellent IT skills – MS Office, Sage and Xero.
* Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* ACA/ACCA study support provided if not already fully qualified.
Working Conditions
This role is hybrid, combining working from home with presence in the Kent office in Goudhurst.
