A friendly and inclusive primary school in Kensington is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis until July. This is a wonderful opportunity to support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. The Role: Providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for students with special educational needs. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver and monitor individual education plans (IEPs) for SEN students. Assisting with social, emotional, and behavioural support to promote a positive classroom atmosphere. Helping to create an inclusive and supportive environment that ensures all children can access the curriculum and thrive. Supporting the preparation of teaching materials and adapting lessons to meet the needs of SEN students. The Ideal Candidate: Experience supporting children with special educational needs is preferred. Understanding of various SEN strategies and interventions. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents. Patient, empathetic, and proactive in supporting students with diverse learning needs. Passionate about providing an inclusive education and making a difference in the lives of SEN students.
