Here at Ruby Energy we continue to grow in 2025 and have a new position available for a Project Manager
Please note for this role you would based at our Head Office in Manchester or Fleetwood on a Fixed term Contract of 12 months
Main Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Develop, initiate, and oversee project plans, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
* Define and monitor project scope, goals, and deliverables to support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
* Ensure all project deliverables meet required quality standards, comply with policies, and adhere to relevant regulations.
* Track and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.
* Regularly update stakeholders on project status, including risks, issues, and progress. Facilitate meetings and create reports to communicate updates effectively.
* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, risk logs, and progress reports, updating as needed.
* Analyse business practices, procedures, and systems usage, documenting current processes and business needs.
* Identify opportunities for improvement, collaborate on potential solutions, and design optimized future-state systems, processes, and working practices.
* Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and create functional specifications, leading to comprehensive business cases for change.
* Support the Head of Change and Delivery in managing the Project Management Office (PMO).
* Uphold and promote PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
* Assist in the development and maintenance of project management frameworks, tools, and templates
Experience Required:
Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable; solid working knowledge is acceptable.
* Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
* Experience in the energy, utilities, or sales/Call centre sectors is advantageous.
* Experience in business analysis and process improvement is desirable.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management software such as Excel and MS Project.
* Understanding of Agile project management methodologies. Working knowledge is ideal
