Bank Care Assistant Location: Ashton Manor Care Home, Lancaster Contract Type: Bank (0-hour contract) – flexible hours to suit you Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts, 8am–8pm or 8pm–8am (no fixed rota) Pay Rate: £14.12 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay) Basic hourly rate: £12.60 Holiday pay: £1.52 (12.07% holiday uplift) About the Role: Evermore Care is seeking compassionate Care Assistants to join the bank team at Ashton Manor, our state-of-the-art care home in Lancaster. You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative environment. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in residents' lives while working as part of a supportive and dedicated team. Main Responsibilities: Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting. Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens. Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality. Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care. Experience Required: Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings. Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team. Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.
