Old Thorns Hotel & Resort is seeking a Management Accountant to join our team
We're introducing a new position as a Management Accountant to assist our Finance Manager, working within the heart of the hotel.
A four-star hotel situated within 400 acres of English countryside, we offer a fun and friendly environment. The hotel is easily accessible from the A3, and only 20-30 minutes from Guildford and Portsmouth. We offer a wide range of accommodation, conference and function facilities, health club, spa, restaurants and bars, and a championship golf course.
This is a Full-Time (40 hours per week) position.

This individual will assist the Finance Manager with ensuring a smooth running of the Finance Department.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified with a strong understanding of Financial and Management Accounting principles
* Possess the ability to work on your own or within a team and to communicate accounting data to non-financials when required.
* Ensure month end procedures are carried in a timely manner.
* Assist with tracking KPI's across all departments.
Management Accountant main responsibilities include:
* Assist the Finance Manager with the smooth running of the Finance Department
* Ensure accurate records are kept, revenue is correctly records and reconciled in a timely manner
* Ensure the accounts department operates at a high standard for processing accounts data and information
* Ensure month end procedures are carried in a timely manner.
* Assist with tracking KPI's across all departments.
